Protect Farms
Farms are critical to the Valley, and that's why Lois is working hard to protect them. She recently wrote AB 2881 to protect farmers from nuisance suits for their everyday actions. Yolo County Ag Futures Alliance (AFA), which is sponsoring the bill, said that this "measure will help ensure that potential buyers have the information they need before deciding to purchase land in an agricultural area, thus helping avoid disputes between farmers and their new neighbors."
[Wolk] has the ability to negotiate and mediate when necessary, and can be counted on to be solutions-oriented. History has proven that she will watch out for the interests of her district and step up when her constituents need her.
