Protect Farms
Farms are critical to the Valley, and that's why Lois is working hard to protect them. She recently wrote AB 2881 to protect farmers from nuisance suits for their everyday actions. Yolo County Ag Futures Alliance (AFA), which is sponsoring the bill, said that this "measure will help ensure that potential buyers have the information they need before deciding to purchase land in an agricultural area, thus helping avoid disputes between farmers and their new neighbors."
After reviewing both candidates, it's obvious that Lois Wolk is the best choice for the Senate District 5 seat.
She is well-versed in issues important to the entire district, not just Solano and Yolo counties: The Delta, education, transportation, health and public safety. Daily Democrat
